Planting Trees | Urban Canopy |
Urban Canopy helps you see the "hot spots" that are contributing to urban heat by taking high resolution thermal images at the peak of summer by aircraft. They put these images on their publicly available web-based app so home owners, city planners, architects, schools, businesses, and sustainability managers can look up a property and see what structures to target for urban greening or cooling projects. |

Developing Your Communication Systems for an Emergency * | PG&E - Outage Notifications |
Stay informed about outages affecting your service—or service anywhere in PG&E’s territory. When you sign up for outage notifications, we’ll let you know the cause, when crews are on their way, the estimated restoration time and when power is restored. And if extreme fire danger conditions threaten a portion of the electric system serving your community, it may be necessary for us to turn off electricity in the interest of public safety. This is called a Public Safety Power Shutoff. When possible in advance of an outage, we will send notifications to the phone and email contacts we have on file. |
